Be A Friend of Scouting
|
In 1910, Lord Robert-Baden Powell created something special – an organization that boys could join to learn about woodcraft, first-aid, nature, swimming, sports, hiking, camping, canoeing and other fun things, while, at the same time, learning leadership, integrity, character, Duty to God, and patriotism.
From its beginnings almost 100 years ago, Scouting has grown to become the largest youth development organization in the world. The movement would never have been able to grow without the financial support of people like us to help.
Locally, the French Creek Council is the organization that supports and administers the Scouting program. They serve nearly 10,000 young people in Erie, Mercer, Crawford, Venango, Clarion, and Forest Counties in Pennsylvania and also in Brookfield, Ohio.
Each year we ask the “Friends of Scouting” to help our Council financially so that it has all the resources necessary to provide the Scouting program to as many youth as possible.
FACTS
Won’t you please help me help the Scouts by making a pledge of financial support?
When you make your pledge via this secure link, the French Creek Council automatically receives the information and can send your bill at the time you select.
This saves our local Council hundreds of dollars in the printing of pledge cards, postage, extra mailings, etc. and frees up their staff to concentrate on providing support and administration of the program for the youth.
If you prefer not to contribute via web-pledge but would still like the Council to contact you for a tax-deductible gift, please check the appropriate box below and and the Council will send you a pledge reminder.
Please take a moment to fill in the fields below, click “send” and feel confident that you have just helped thousands of young people learn to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Thank you.
